TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
We share all the details of a new, exciting opportunity for early years educators
Since September 2024, the expansion of the early entitlement offers has transformed early years education, allowing eligible working parents and carers to access 15 hours of funded early years education and care for babies as young as nine months. With this increased demand, a new qualification has been launched to enhance your skills and advance your career.
To support early years settings in delivering high-quality care and education for babies and young children under two, the Early Years Alliance is pleased to promote the new NCFE Cache accredited qualification: Level 3 Award in Working with Babies and Young Children Under 2 Years.
This qualification has been specifically designed to equip early years educators with the training, knowledge, and practical skills needed to provide the best possible care for babies and young children.
This award explores the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), alongside key non-statutory guidance, including Development Matters and Birth to 5 Matters. It offers an invaluable opportunity for professional development, allowing practitioners to gain expertise in caring for babies and young children under two years.
Please note: This Award is not considered a full and relevant Level 3 qualification for ratio purposes but serves as an excellent continuing professional development (CPD) opportunity.
The Early Years Alliance will deliver this course through a blended learning approach, offering flexibility.
